Our consensus
Pros: Excellent value. The Chicago Cutlery Insignia line is perfect for those who love to cook and are looking for an upgrade in kitchen knives. They are very sharp, very easy to sharpen and are built to protect amateur chefs from chopping or cutting mistakes. They are very well priced, significantly less than other top sets. Most people seem to really love the all stainless steel look and feel of the knives. Lifetime warranty shows confidence in the product.
Cons: Many reports of rusting. Most seem very satisfied with the sharpness and performance but many people are not satisfied with the overall quality and appearance of all Chicago Cutlery knives because of the rust issue. A few complaints about the hollow handles of Chicago Cutlery Insignia knives. Some complain that they are unbalanced because of the blades being heavier than the handles.
